NVIDIA RTX 50 series graphics cards may be unveiled sooner than expected

Rumours have surfaced online that NVIDIA RTX 50 series graphics cards will be introduced as early as 2024. Initially it was expected that the introduction of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 will take place at CES in 2025, but rumours suggest that RTX 50 series cards may be introduced in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Here's What We Know

NVIDIA partners expect the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 to be unveiled in 2024. A Twitter user with the nickname @kopite7kimi, known for leaking information about NVIDIA, responded to a question about when the next-generation GPUs will be unveiled. He reported that it will happen "at the end of the year."

A recent IT Home article states that the first GPUs NVIDIA is likely to unveil in 2024 will be flagship models. The RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 are expected to be unveiled first, which could be followed by the introduction of the RTX 5060 or RTX 5070. If the RTX 50 series cards are unveiled this year, more shipments are also expected. Initial leaks are pointing in that direction, but it certainly doesn't definitively mean that NVIDIA will introduce the RTX 50 series this year. However, if the rumours are confirmed, we could see the unveiling of high-end RTX 50 series cards in the fourth quarter of 2024.
