Samsung has decided to extend support for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra flagships

Recently we wrote that Samsung will no longer update the Galaxy S20 flagships. Now there is information that the Korean manufacturer has changed its mind and decided to expand support for the devices.

Here's What We Know

New major updates to the Android operating system for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra are not worth waiting for. Instead, Samsung is going to release security patches for the gadgets. They will be released once a quarter. How long the support for smartphones will last the company does not yet say.

Flashback

The Galaxy S20, GalaxyS20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra debuted in 2020 with Android 10 on board. Right now, all models run Android 13 operating system with One UI 5 on top.
