ZTE has unexpectedly revealed a new flagship smartphone in China.

Here's What We Know

The novelty was named ZTE Axon 60 Ultra. The gadget is specially created for corporate clients and government workers. Ordinary users will not be able to buy a smartphone.

The main feature of the ZTE Axon 60 Ultra is support for satellite communication. Thanks to this smartphone can call and send messages through the Chinese satellite system Tiantong. ZTE has also added to the novelty algorithm for switching between multiple antennas. This allows the phone to use cellular and satellite networks simultaneously to improve data transmission, reduce latency and improve connectivity in areas with poor coverage.

In terms of specs, the ZTE Axon 60 Ultra gets a 6.78-inch 120Hz OLED display, last year's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The novelty comes with a 50 MP + 50 MP + macro lens main camera and a 32 MP front camera. The device has IP68 water protection and a 6000 mAh battery with 80W charging.
