The film Deadpool and Wolverine is not Deadpool 3 - it will be an adventure about two characters

This summer, we will see the return of one of the most comical superheroes - Deadpool. Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, will also appear alongside him. However, as it turned out, it will not be Deadpool 3 at all.

Here's What We Know

Shawn Levy, the director of Deadpool and Wolverine, said that although Ryan Reynolds plays Deadpool in the film, it should not be called Deadpool 3.

"It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure".

When We Can Expect It

The premiere of Deadpool and Wolverine is scheduled for 26 July 2024.
