Acer launches new Chromebook 514 with powerful Intel i3-N305 processor for $400

Acer has announced the release of an updated version of its popular Chromebook 514 with a powerful Intel i3-N305 processor and 8GB of expanded RAM for $400.

This new model, the CB514-4H/T, promises a faster processor and better graphics.

The Chromebook 514 will be powered by a 3.8GHz octa-core Intel i3-N305 processor and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Chromebook 514 will also have 512 GB of SSD storage and support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. At the same time, Acer promises up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge.

The appearance of the new Chromebook 514 is also on par with its technical specifications. It features a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080, a 1080p webcam with a physical shutter for privacy, and dual speakers and microphones. There's no shortage of ports either, with two USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 ports, a MicroSD card slot, headset jack and Kensington lock port.

The updated Chromebook 514 is already expected to hit Costco stores next week, with a general release scheduled for the first week of May.
