The Super Mario Brothers became the highest-grossing film in 2023 with a net profit of $559 million.

Next up is Barbie (who would have doubted it) with a net profit of $421 million. "The bronze medal went to Spider-Man: Across the Universe. Miles Morales and company brought in $328 million. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles took fourth place: Mutant Carnage ($204.5 million), and Oppenheimer rounds out the top five with $201.9 million.
