Microsoft redesigned the battery icon in Windows 11 to be better informative

Microsoft has decided to change the battery icon in Windows 11, which hasn't changed in years. In the latest Dev Channel update, the battery icon will be completely redesigned.
Here's What We Know
Instead of a black and white icon, a more detailed icon will now be used. The new icon will show the remaining battery charge more accurately and will include colour coding: green will indicate charging and yellow will indicate an active charge saving mode. The updated battery icon will only be available on the taskbar, while the lock screen will continue to use the previous version.

Users who want to try out the new icon can install Dev Channel version 26120.2510 and enable the feature using the ViVeTool app. In addition, the Reminder, Click Do, Co-Painter and Visual Reshape features are available in the update. The new design not only looks better but also displays the charge status more accurately, allowing users to easily understand the charge level of their devices.
