Mysterious photorealistic cats: Catly - a simulator of interaction with furry friends, about which little is known
The Game Awards 2024 presented Catly, a game that impresses with photorealistic cats. The game is scheduled for release in 2025 for PC, Nintendo Switch, and, unexpectedly, Apple Watch. The announcement was accompanied by a short trailer in which cats jump around a psychedelic world and then meet a man who changes his clothes before the game title appears.
Here's What We Know
Catly is an adventure game with the ability to play in single and multiplayer modes. Players will be able to take care of cats, explore the world, and engage in "world-building". Each cat in the game will be unique, and users will have "limitless" possibilities for customising them.
Although the Steam and App Store pages don't have many details yet, some screenshots show cats and environments. However, it's unclear what technology is behind the developers' promises of unique cats and an open world on the Apple Watch.
