Tesla Model Y orders automatically upgraded to the new "Juniper" version in the Philippines

Tesla Model Y buyers in the Philippines got a surprise. Instead of the crossover in the usual design, they will receive an updated version known as the Model Y Juniper.
Here's What We Know
According to a Tesla spokesperson in the Philippines, deliveries of the Tesla Model Y will start in April. These will be vehicles manufactured by the Giga Shanghai plant. Tesla Philippines also promised to upgrade orders of Deep Blue Metallic colour cars to the new Glacier Blue Exterior at no extra charge from customers.

Tesla Model Y Juniper
As we reported earlier, Tesla has finally revealed the redesigned Model Y Juniper crossover on its official Chinese website. The first to get this version of the model in March will be the residents of China. Later Model Y Juniper will be sold in other Asian countries.




The updated Tesla Model Y features a design with elements of Tesla Cybertruck and Tesla Cybercab style, more comfortable suspension and slightly increased range. A rear-wheel-drive version (RWD) with 593 kilometres of range and an all-wheel-drive Long-Range AWD version with 719 kilometres of range have been announced in China.
