Galaxy A56 could be the first mid-budget Galaxy smartphone to feature AI

In 2024, Samsung added artificial intelligence elements to the Galaxy A series, including the Circle to Search feature. However, more sophisticated Galaxy AI capabilities are currently available only in flagship models. However, there is a possibility that Galaxy AI will be extended to the Galaxy A series.
Here's What We Know
Recently, the company has filed several trademark applications in Europe, the US, and South Korea that indicate its intention to register the term Awesome Intelligence (according to GalaxyClub).

Although the trademark applications do not mention the Galaxy A series, Samsung has repeatedly used the word "Awesome" to advertise this series. The Galaxy A adverts often use phrases such as "Awesome for everyone", "Awesome screen", "Awesome camera", etc.
This suggests that the term "Awesome Intelligence" may be related to the Galaxy A series.
Does this mean that the Galaxy A series will get more Galaxy AI features this year? While it's hard to say for sure based on just a few trademark applications, it seems like it's a possibility.

As for which Galaxy A smartphone might be the first to feature Awesome Intelligence, only time will tell. However, the Galaxy A56 looks like a worthy candidate.
The new Galaxy A56 will be equipped with the Exynos 1580 chip, which is theoretically capable of supporting more Galaxy AI features such as text summarisation or even AI-based notifications, which will be part of One UI 7 and Galaxy S25.
Samsung may release the Galaxy A56 in the spring, so we'll have to wait a bit to find out if it will be the first with "Awesome Intelligence" and the first among Samsung's non-flagship smartphones to get more Galaxy AI features.
