Insider: Sony will hold a State of Play show in February
Rumours and speculation are resurfacing about the possible timing of Sony's State of Play game show.
Here's What We Know
That the show will take place on 30 January was reported by former Bend Studio employee Alex Smith.
Analyst Roberto Serrano called another date - 28 or 29 January.
But famous insider NateTheHate, who was the first to give the actual date of the official Nintendo Switch 2 announcement, has a different prediction. While chatting with subscribers at X, NateTheHate hinted that State of Play will take place in February.

Whether this is true or not is impossible to say, but it's clear that the show is being prepared and will take place soon, as Sony has several major releases planned for 2025 that need promotional campaigns.
The previously mentioned Alex Smith claimed that the upcoming State of Play will reveal release dates for Ghost of Yotei and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, as well as developers Returnal announcing their new game.
