Apple launches Apple Store app in India

Apple has taken another step in developing its presence in the Indian market by officially launching the Apple Store app. Until now, users in India could buy the brand's products through the official website or in physical stores.
Here's What We Know
The launch of the app simplifies the ordering process and provides new opportunities for users.
What the Apple Store app offers
The app is available for download in the App Store and allows you to:
- Purchase Apple devices, including iPhones, Macs, accessories, and Apple Care+;
- Customise device configurations, such as Macs;
- Exchange old devices (trade-in) for new models;
- Order home delivery of goods or pick them up in a physical store;
- Add personalised engravings to the device.
The application interface is divided into several tabs. For example, in the "For You" section, you can compare iPhone models, save your favourite products, and receive recommendations based on your previous preferences. The "Go Further" section provides access to consultations with Apple experts and sign up for training sessions in physical stores.

Apple in India
In April, Apple will celebrate two years since the opening of its first official stores in Mumbai and Delhi. The company also plans to open new stores in Bangalore, Pune, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai.
The Indian market is important for Apple. In addition to increasing the number of stores and launching an app, the company continues to increase iPhone production in the country.
The Indian government plans to invest at least $2.7 billion to support local electronic component manufacturers and revise customs tariffs, which could make the production of iPhones in the country even more profitable.
