Atlus has unveiled the official manga for the Metaphor: ReFantazio universe, which is a logical sequel to the video game's success. The first chapter has already been published on the Manga Plus platform.

The author of the adaptation is Yoichi Amano, known for his work on the Dragon Quest Treasures manga. The first chapter is as close as possible to the game's plot and tells the story of the main character named Will.
It is interesting that the manga is not a simple copy of the game - the author allowed himself to change some storylines, in particular, the circumstances of Will's acquaintance with his favourite character Strolls. This hints that readers are in for some unexpected plot twists.
Metaphor: ReFantazio has already become Atlus's best-selling game, selling a million copies in its first day alone. And the manga is set to expand the game's universe.
