Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ smartphones

Today, 22 January, Samsung finally unveiled its new flagship Galaxy S25 and S25+ smartphones. The main focus of the announcement was on the One UI 7 software, new artificial intelligence features and Personal Data Engine, which we have a separate piece about.
Here's What We've Seen
Both smartphones are powered by a dedicated Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, which has a maximum operating frequency of 4.47GHz and delivers 45 per cent more processor performance, 48 per cent more GPU processing power and 68 per cent faster NPU compared to the previous generation.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ come with 12GB of RAM, which has become standard on all S25 models. The models come in 128GB (Galaxy S25 only), 256GB and 512GB storage capacities. To improve cooling, the devices feature 40 per cent larger evaporation chambers and special thermal interface material.
The screens of the S25 and S25+ remain the same size as last year's models: 6.2 inches for the S25 and 6.7 inches for the S25+. The display resolution of the S25+ is 1440p+, while the S25 has a 1080p+ resolution. Both devices feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. In terms of battery life, the Galaxy S25 gets a 4000mAh battery while the Galaxy S25+ gets a 4900mAh battery. The base model supports a maximum of all the same 25W power adapter, while the higher model supports 45W. Also on both models supports 15W Qi wireless charging.

The cameras get a new ProVisual Engine image processing engine, but the main specs remain the same: 50 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom (f/2.4) and 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2). The selfie camera has also remained at 12 MP (f/2.2).
The smartphones also support dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, IP68 body protection, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and both models will also get 7 years of Android system updates.








The Galaxy S25 and S25+ are already available for pre-order in Ukraine with prices starting from UAH 41,999, and the actual sales of the smartphones will start on 14 February.
