The Simpsons: Tapped Out was one of the first popular mobile games in the modern sense of the term.
The game was released in 2012 and for almost 13 years delighted fans of the cult animated series.
Here's What We Know
Gamers enjoyed managing life in Springfield and following the colourful inhabitants of this town.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out peaked in popularity in 2020 - at that time, the game had over 80 million active users!
But as immortal as The Simpsons franchise is, the game has been less fortunate than the iconic animated series, which continues to receive new seasons. Unfortunately, Electronic Arts has decided that it's not worth supporting Tapped Out and has shut down its servers. The game is no longer available on gaming devices.
