The next Battlefield will launch by April 2026, - EA CEO
Electronic Arts has been engaging various studios to develop the next Battlefield for several years now, and it looks like the final product could be revealed soon. During the company's recent quarterly financial call, CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed the release window for the upcoming first-person shooter.

Wilson said that the next Battlefield instalment is scheduled for release in fiscal year 2026, which covers the period from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026. Since previous instalments of the series were usually released at the end of the year, it is likely that the new game will debut in the last months of the year. Leaks from about a year ago pointed to an October 2025 release, and this timeline may still be valid behind the scenes.
In addition, EA recently unveiled a new community testing programme for the next Battlefield, emphasising its intention to involve players in shaping the future of the franchise.
