Buckle up: crazy racing in Wreckfest 2 starts on 20 March

Publisher THQ Nordic has revealed the date of early access release of the racing game Wreckfest 2, which is the "spiritual successor" of the cult FlatOut and is created by many developers who once worked on the famous race.
Here's What We Know
Wreckfest 2 will be released on Steam on the 20th of March. In early access developers will improve all elements of the game taking into account the wishes and comments of gamers, and in the future the novelty will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
Especially for Wreckfest 2 Bugbear studio modified its own engine to create the most realistic destruction system, both objects on locations and cars.
Only three modes - racing, derby and multiplayer - will appear in Early Access, and the developers plan to add the following content as they work on the game:
- a redesigned career mode;
- a player recruitment system based on users' skills;
- challenges - short scenarios with unusual cars;
- tournaments;
- additional tracks and arenas;
- new customisation elements;
- mod support.
Like in FlatOut, most of the cars in Wreckfest 2 are old, wrecked and patched up junk cars. Each of them has a colourful design, which can be changed at will.
