The Oppo Find X9 Ultra could get a 200-megapixel periscopic camera like in Xiaomi and Vivo flagships

Oppo may equip its upcoming flagship smartphone Find X9 Ultra with a 200-megapixel periscopic camera, similar to those already used in Xiaomi and Vivo models. This is reported by the well-known Chinese whistleblower Digital Chat Station.
Here's What We Know
The new camera will replace the current dual 50-megapixel periscopic setup used in the Find X7 Ultra and is expected to be installed in the Find X8 Ultra. The Find X7 Ultra was the world's first smartphone with a dual periscopic camera, but now Oppo seems keen to catch up with its Chinese rivals.
However, the release of the Find X9 Ultra is still a year away, while the upcoming Find X8 Ultra will be unveiled as early as March 2025, according to leaks, and will feature a 6.82-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 6,000mAh battery with 80W or 90W fast charging support, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and IP68 and IP69 dust and water protection.
