Xiaomi 16 Pro and Xiaomi 16 Ultra might get some display features that no iPhone has
Rumours about the new Xiaomi 16 series flagships are already circulating in China, despite the fact that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has yet to be officially unveiled. A well-known Chinese insider Digital Chat Station has revealed an interesting detail about the upcoming Xiaomi 16 smartphones.
Here's What We Know
According to him, the Xiaomi 16 Pro and Xiaomi 16 Ultra will feature a new 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display with 2K+ resolution. This display will have minimal symmetrical bezels on all four sides, which will be thinner than any iPhone. He also added that the displays in the new smartphones will be flat.
If history repeats itself, the Xiaomi 16 Pro will be unveiled in China alongside the smaller Xiaomi 16 in October, while the Xiaomi 16 Ultra will arrive about a year later. All three devices are likely to use a processor that will be the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It will probably be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2.
