Thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge: Insider reveals the thickness of the iPhone 17 Air case
We already reported that the reputable insider Ice Universe shared the An insider has revealed the price, body thickness and weight of Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge flagship ultra-thin smartphone Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge flagship ultra-thin smartphone. It impressed with its dimensions, but the main competitor of the Korean company - Apple - is preparing to present an even thinner smartphone.
Here's What We Know
Ice Universe reported that the iPhone 17 Air will be only 5.5mm thick, while the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be 5.84mm thick.
The insider mentioned that apart from the thickness, the dimensions of the iPhone 17 Air are the same as the iPhone 17 Pro Max: both smartphones will get a body with a height of 163 mm, width of 77.6 mm, and a display size of 6.9″, but the Pro Max will be 8.725 mm thick.
Exclusive revelation: The length, width, screen size, and bezel（same iPhone 16 Pro Max） of the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro Max are exactly the same.

So if Ice Universe's information is confirmed, the 17 Air will be the thinnest iPhone in the company's history.
