Planet Coaster 2 developers talk about Update 3 and Update 4

Frontier's first livestream of 2025 has revealed details on what Planet Coaster 2 players can expect from Updates 3 and 4, which will be released in the coming months.
Here's What We Know
Update 3, which will be released on 20 March, introduces several new features, including an updated tutorial and sandboxed Act I career levels, random rotation and scaling of scenery items, the return of the Vector Inverting Suspended ride from the original Planet Coaster, improved staff and guest behaviour, and a major overhaul of the chute rides.
As for Update 4, Frontier has been tight-lipped, but has teased several new features. Players will be able to build their own restaurants, where they will need to manage the different needs and tolerances of their guests. Other additions include additional features for the Frontier Workshop, such as a list of prominent creators, notifications and a What's New list, as well as career maps in the second act of the Sandbox mode.
Further improvements will include inventory coasters (part 3), a new ride that has not yet been announced, improvements to the franchise mode, and ongoing stability and performance fixes. More details will be revealed closer to April.

Planet Coaster 2 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, and the GeForce Now cloud service.
