Assassin's Creed Shadows will be fully compatible with Steam Deck at launch, Ubisoft confirms

It seems that Ubisoft has decided to change its previous decision regarding the support of Assassin's Creed Shadows on Steam Deck. Initially, in February, the company stated that the game would not support Valve's device at launch, partly due to its rather high PC requirements. However, the French publisher has recently confirmed that the game will be playable on Steam Deck from the first day of release.
Many of you have been asking about Steam Deck. We are happy to say that we are supporting Steam Deck at launch and are currently awaiting the level of classification from Valve. More info to come soon.
