Sweden will invest in the Ukrainian defence industry according to the "Danish model"

The Swedish government allocates funds for the production of Ukrainian weapons using the so-called "Danish model". The amount of funding and specific types of weapons are not disclosed, but it is likely to include Bohdan self-propelled artillery systems and 155mm ammunition.
What is known
A meeting was held in Kyiv with a Swedish delegation headed by Carl Goran Mortensson, Director General of the Defence Logistics Administration (FMV).
The meeting focused on bilateral arms supply projects and opportunities for cooperation with other European countries. The Swedish side stressed the need for feedback on the effectiveness of the transferred weapons and the current needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In addition, Sweden is also proposing to expand the existing memorandum of cooperation, which provides for deeper cooperation between public and private defence companies.

Earlier, it was reported that Sweden had decided to sign a contract to supply Ukraine with 18 Archer self-propelled artillery systems and 5 ARTHUR counter-battery radars worth $300 million as part of the 18th military aid package.
