Apple to donate to help earthquake victims in Myanmar and Thailand

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the company will donate an undisclosed amount to help the victims of the earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand.

Apple usually makes donations through the Red Cross after major natural disasters around the world.
In Myanmar, the death toll from the powerful earthquake has risen to 2056. The total number of injured people is over 3,900, while another 270 people are still missing. According to the BBC, four people have been rescued from the rubble of the Sky Villa apartment building in Mandalay. Among those rescued were a pregnant woman and a child.

In Thailand, the death toll from the collapse of an unfinished high-rise building in Bangkok has reached 12. This brings the total number of victims of the aftershocks to 19. At the same time, 75 people are still missing in Thailand, and rescuers continue to search for them.
The 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck on 28 March, and aftershocks were also felt in Thailand. Earlier it was reported that at least 1700 people died in Myanmar as a result of the earthquake, about 3400 were injured, and another 300 people went missing. In Thailand, 17 deaths were recorded, and 83 people were reported missing.
