The family of Skoda RS sports models has been enriched with a new electric crossover Elroq. The novelty combines dynamism, practicality and a solid range.

Here's What We Know

Skoda Elroq RS has become the new flagship version in the line-up of the electric crossover, which is the younger brother of the Enyaq model. The car is equipped with an all-wheel drive system with two electric motors with a total output of 250 kW (340 hp), which allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds.

Despite its sporty character, the electric crossover can travel up to 550 kilometres on a single charge (in the WLTP cycle). The 84 kWh battery (of which 79 kWh is available) charges from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 26 minutes using DC fast charging up to 185 kW. From a home 11-kilowatt charger, the battery is fully charged in about 8 hours.

Compared to other versions of the Elroq, the RS version features an adaptive DCC chassis with preset modes. The reinforced brakes with high resistance to overheating are visually distinguished by bright red twin-piston calipers.

Elroq RS specifications:

  • Power: 250 kW
  • Drive: all-wheel drive (4×4)
  • Acceleration 0-100 km/h: 5,4 с
  • Top speed: 180 km/h
  • Range (WLTP): Up to 550 kilometres
  • Battery capacity: 84 kWh (79 kWh usable)
  • Maximum charging power: 185 kW

The exterior of the Elroq RS is highlighted by original aerodynamic discs measuring up to 21 inches and sculpted bumpers with a reflective stripe across the rear of the car. Available in the signature RS Mamba Green colour and other shades. Sporty black exterior elements adorn the window frames, roof rails, exterior mirror housings and Škoda lettering on the bonnet and boot door.

The RS interior is designed around sports seats with integrated headrests that provide enhanced back and shoulder support in cornering. The predominantly black interior is complemented by accents of carbon fibre trim and RS-exclusive lime green stitching.

The 470-litre luggage compartment can be expanded to 1,580 litres by folding down the rear seat backrests. A virtual pedal allows hands-free opening of the boot, while a QR code in the boot leads to a video tutorial of the car's key features.

The Elroq RS will make its public debut at Milan Design Week (8-13 April 2025).
