Don't worry: Team Cherry has confirmed that Hollow Knight: Silksong will not only be released on Nintendo Switch 2, but also on the previous model as well
Hollow Knight: Silksong was announced in 2019 and it was stated that the game would be released on all current platforms.
Last week, after several years of almost complete silence, the developers at Team Cherry not only reminded us of the game's existence, but also announced that it would be available on Nintendo Switch 2.
This news somewhat upset gamers, as they interpreted it to mean that Hollow Knight: Silksong would not be available on the first Switch.
Here's What We Know
Team Cherry Studios marketing manager Matthew Griffin has confirmed that Silksong will not only be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 immediately after release, but also on the last generation Japanese handheld console.

When We Can Expect It
At the Nintendo Direct, Team Cherry showed off a few shots of the highly anticipated game, but never gave an exact release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong, limiting it to "sometime in 2025".
