Xiaomi opens Android 16 testing for developers: Xiaomi 15 and 14T Pro get beta versions
Xiaomi continues to actively work on new versions of Android, and this time the company has announced the testing of Android 16 Developer Preview for two of its popular models - Xiaomi 15 and 14T Pro.

After Google released Android 16 Beta 3, which reached the Platform Stability stage, Xiaomi decided not to delay and gave developers the opportunity to test new features on their devices using HyperOS 2 builds based on Android 16 Beta 2.
Testing is available for the following models:
- Xiaomi 15: OS2.0.250327.1.WOCMIXM.PRE-DPP
- Xiaomi 14T Pro: OS2.0.250327.1.WNNMIXM.PRE-DPP
These builds are intended for developers only, so ordinary users should refrain from participating in testing.
To start testing, your smartphone must be running special versions of HyperOS 2. For Xiaomi 15, it is OS2.0.109.0.VOCMIXM, and for Xiaomi 14T Pro, it is OS2.0.103.0.VNNMIXM or later.
Android 16 Developer Preview builds are available for download on the official Xiaomi website. In addition, the company also provides builds based on Android 15 for those who may want to revert to the previous version of the system after testing.
Programmers can access these beta versions for free, and the company expects to receive feedback through the Android Beta Feedback app built into the system.
