The "Galactic Battle" is coming: Fortnite will be fully immersed in the Star Wars universe in the new season
On 2 May 2025, a brand new season of Fortnite called Galactic Battle will start, which will be entirely dedicated to the cult Star Wars film saga.
Here's What We Know
The announcement of this grand event took place at this year's Star Wars Celebration in Japan, promising players not only a themed battle pass, but also weekly game content, as well as a "culminating narrative event at the end of the season".
It is worth noting that while this is not the first time Fortnite has collaborated with Star Wars, it is only the third time in the game's history that an entire season will be fully dedicated to a specific intellectual property. The previous two times were dedicated to the Marvel universe, which makes the upcoming "Galactic Battle" even more special and anticipated.
At the moment, details of the new season are rather scarce - for example, it is not yet known which characters will appear in the battle pass, although familiar faces such as Wookiees and Mandalorians have already been seen in the teaser.
There is an assumption that this season may be somewhat shorter than usual, possibly lasting about 30 days. Of course, the exact information will be confirmed later. However, one thing is already clear: Fortnite players are in for an unforgettable journey in a galaxy far, far away, filled with new challenges, rewards, and, of course, the Force!
