Xiaomi YU7 has a new version with a range of 835km
Xiaomi has updated its application with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) for the YU7 electric crossover. A new version of the model with a single electric motor and a range of 835 kilometres has been added.

The new version of the YU7 is equipped with a 235 kW (about 320 hp) electric motor and features low energy consumption - only 13.3 kWh per 100 kilometres. At the same time, the curb weight of the car is 2,315kg.
Leaked interior images have revealed the car's two-tone interior design in purple-red and beige tones, a hovering centre screen and a PHUD (panoramic projection display) system that displays speed and navigation information right in front of the driver. The equipment also includes wireless charging, separate armrest, cupholders, and in expensive versions - comfortable seats with additional support for legs. In top-end configurations, an alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and carbon fibre trim elements will also be available.

It is already known that the Xiaomi YU7 supports 800-volt fast charging technology. The version with a range of 820 kilometres, for example, can top up 200 kilometres in 5 minutes of charging.
Xiaomi is currently continuing to test prototypes of the new model and preparing the production line. According to Chinese media, in its home country, the YU7 will cost in the range of 250,000-350,000 yuan or approximately $35,000-49,000 US dollars.
