Garmin releases beta 14.07 for Venu 3 and vivoactive 5: new features and stability

Garmin has announced the release of the beta version of the 14.07 update for the Venu 3, Venu 3s and Vivoactive 5 smartwatches. The update is designed to fix several bugs that occurred after the addition of the password function, as well as to improve the Pilates video training.

According to release 14.07, beta 14.07 fixes the issue with the password prompt after the watch restarts during activity, and ensures that Pilates video workouts are available. In addition, the changes affect the appearance of the calorie graph, although there are reportedly no major changes to the functionality of this tool.
As is customary for beta releases, the update brings minor bug fixes, although there are no exact details about these changes. At the time of writing, users have not reported any new bugs related to this version.
How To Switch It On
To download the 14.07 update, users can go to the Settings, System, Software Update menu. It is important to note that the ECG application is temporarily disabled for Venu 3 users as part of this beta.
It is not yet known when a stable update for Garmin smartwatches will be available.
As a reminder, Garmin has released a new beta firmware for Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro, Enduro 2, and Tactix 7 with critical fixes. The update focuses on bug fixes and interface improvements. A bug has been fixed that could cause the device to crash on shutdown.
