Samsung has officially confirmed that in the coming months, the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds 3 will support Google Gemini, a new AI assistant that is gradually replacing Google Assistant on Android devices. This is the first integration of Gemini into Galaxy wearables, and it promises to make the experience even more convenient and intelligent.

On the Galaxy Watch, Gemini will allow you to manage tasks using your voice: for example, you can say "Remember I'm using locker 43" while working out or ask "Summarise my latest email" and get a quick overview without having to take out your smartphone.

In the case of the Galaxy Buds 3, Gemini is activated via a voice command or a "pinch and hold" gesture. While the earbuds themselves don't have the power to run AI, they interact with a connected smartphone or watch to provide quick access to features like weather checks and reminders.

The update is expected to be part of the One UI 8 Watch and will be available for Galaxy Watch 4 and later models, including the Watch FE, Watch 5, 6, and 7. As for the headphones, only the Buds 3 is currently confirmed for support, but it is hoped that other models will receive the update in the future.

The move is part of Google's broader strategy to integrate Gemini into a variety of devices, including cars, TVs, and XR headsets, with the aim of creating a unified AI experience for users.
