Fortnite has not yet received Apple's approval to return to the App Store: Epic Games CEO blames Apple for the delay

After almost five years of absence, Fortnite has not yet appeared in the iOS App Store, although Epic Games officially submitted the game for consideration on 9 May. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney said that Apple is delaying the approval process, which jeopardises plans to simultaneously update the game on all platforms.
Here's What We Know
Sweeney has repeatedly updated fans on the status of Fortnite's return to iPhone and iPad, but recent days have not brought any news from Apple. According to him, the company received a request for review last week but has not yet responded. Epic has even resubmitted an updated version of the game, as Fortnite has to release new content simultaneously on all platforms, and the version that was sent first is already outdated.
Apple officially states that 90% of applications for consideration are processed in less than 24 hours, but Fortnite remains in the "queue" for more than five days. This is a concern for Epic, as the delay is not only damaging to release plans, but also to the game's functioning as a live service.
Sweeney stressed that for dynamic multi-platform projects like Fortnite, it is critical that platforms support regular updates without artificial barriers. He directly accused Apple of "hindering" the process by using its power to make the game difficult to play.
