At Computex 2025 Acer presented not only a "Light as a feather, fast as an arrow": Acer has unveiled the Swift Edge 14 AI flagship Copilot+ laptop, but also an unexpected product for the brand - a fitness ring. Recall, Acer has previously released smartwatches and fitness trackers, but in the segment of rings the manufacturer decided to test its strength only now.

Here's What We Know

The Taiwanese company announced the first smart ring FreeSense Ring.

This gadget is designed for detailed monitoring of health and vital signs. It tracks pulse, heart rate, blood oxygen levels and sleep quality. The mobile application analyses the data and, thanks to the AI built into the ring, gives recommendations on how to improve health, and all its functionality will be available immediately and without paid subscriptions, which distinguishes FreeSense Ring from similar devices, such as rings from Samsung or Oura.

The ring is made of titanium alloy, weighs only 2-3 grams and is water resistant at 5 atmospheres. Buyers will be offered two colour options: rose gold (matte finish) or black (glossy finish).
