A few days ago, an interesting event took place in the Czech Republic: the Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala held a government meeting in the town of Kutna Hora, which since February 2025 is very familiar to gamers, as it became one of the main locations of the highly appreciated role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Here's What We Know

During his visit to Kutná Hora (or Kuttenberg) Petr Fiala received an unusual gift - the mayor of the city presented him with a collector's edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

The authors of the game from Warhorse Studios expressed pride in their work:

We are incredibly proud to have our game presented at such a.level, and are grateful for the support and recognition it receives in Czech society.

(We were told that the Prime Minister's team broke into envious applause. Don't blame them!).

We would like to remind you that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Collector's Edition includes a cloth map of Kutná Hora, a statuette with the image of Indřich (Henry) on his trusty horse, sets of badges and collector's cards, as well as other souvenirs.

Judging by the presented photos, the Czech Prime Minister was pleased with this present and will surely appreciate the work of his compatriots.

Flashback

This isn't the first time that world-class politicians have celebrated video games in a positive way. In April 2025, French President Emmanuel Macron praised Sandfall Interactive for their debut game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and back in 2011, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk presented US President Barack Obama with the then-new The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
