Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has unexpectedly become one of the biggest hits of 2025, selling over 3.3 million copies since its release in late April. Developers from Sandfall Interactive are already listening to the wishes of players, among which the request for a photo mod stands out - and this feature may appear in the game.

Here's What We Know

After the rapid growth in popularity of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the developers have been receiving more and more specific suggestions from the community. During an interview at Final Fantasy Union, art director Nicholas Maxon said that a photo mod is one of the most popular ideas, which is actively discussed within the team.

"It's a very important item on our list of plans, because not only players, but also team members themselves are asking for a photo mod, who want to take beautiful pictures," said Maxon. He added that the implementation of this feature will require significant efforts, but the studio intends to implement it.

Nicholas also said that in addition to the photo mod, the team received many other suggestions, but the main priority now is to fix bugs.

"Right now we are focused on fixing minor bugs, but we have a list of changes that we want to work on," the art director shared.
