Regardless of how you feel about the second season of The Last of Us, one thing is certain: Sony's cross-media approach is working. Not only is it keeping people interested in the franchise, but it has also triumphantly returned The Last of Us Part II Remastered to the top of the UK physical sales chart.

Here's What We Know

The Last of Us Part II Remastered has once again broken into the top 10 physical sales in the UK, taking sixth place - its highest position in a long time. Undoubtedly, the Days of Play discounts also played a role in this great comeback. This is a clear example of how a TV adaptation can breathe new life into already released games, attracting the attention of both new players and those who have decided to return to their favourite story.

In addition, several new releases also made their mark on the chart: Elden Ring Nightreign debuted at number three and EA Sports F1 25 crossed the finish line at number five.

Hogwarts Legacy is at the top of the chart, swapping places with EA Sports FC 25. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 held on to the top 10 in tenth place and, yes, GTA 5 is still in the chart, down to ninth place. Classics remain eternal!
