Bethesda is celebrating a decade of free Fallout Shelter and has revealed an impressive download figure for the game.

Here's What We Know

The American developer said that in 10 years, Fallout Shelter has been installed 230 million times on all platforms - a fact that makes the seemingly simple game the most popular in the Fallout series.

It was only released on mobile devices in 2015, but was later ported to PC and consoles.

To celebrate the anniversary, Bethesda is launching a new in-game event that offers celebratory merchandise to anyone who logs into the game between 16 and 21 June, including bonus lunchboxes, Nuka and more.

Whether you've been with us all along or you're new to the game, now is the time to head out into the wasteland and start building. To celebrate this milestone, we're offering up to 70% off lunchboxes in the in-game shop until 17 June.

So, shake the dust off your Pip-Boy, get in the mood to celebrate, and let these shelters flourish. It's time for another 10 years of Fallout Shelter!
