Journalists have information that the film based on the cult horror Silent Hill 2 (2001) will be released on 23 January 2026.
Viewers will see the story of James Sunderland, who receives a letter from his wife Mary, who died three years ago, in which she asks her husband to return to the town where they once had a great time.
The main role in "Return to Silent Hill" will be played by Jeremy Irvine, and the role of James' wife will be played by Hannah Emily Anderson. The director of the film is Christophe Gans - the director of the first Silent Hill film.
It is noteworthy that for the soundtrack of the film is the famous composer Akira Yamaoka, without whose music it is impossible to imagine Silent Hill games.
