Nubia RedMagic 11 Pro Announced — Dual Cooling with Antifreeze, and Display with Under-Screen Camera
At the RedMagic 11 Pro presentation in China, Nubia officially unveiled a new flagship gaming smartphone, which received a unique display without notches and holes — a 6.85-inch screen with a record screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%. The company positions it as '0 notches, 0 obstacles, 0 compromises'. The backlight material is also unique — a mysterious polymer X10, which, according to the manufacturer, has 10% lower power consumption and 30% longer lifespan.

For the first time in the industry, the smartphone received a dual cooling system ICE Magic Cooling System. The ceramic micropump consumes only 80 mW and can create a liquid pressure of 100 kPa. The cooling liquid is not ordinary water, but actually antifreeze, which does not freeze even at temperatures of -60 and does not boil at +108. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not report how long the pump will work in such an aggressive environment before planned replacement. However, it is noted that this fluorinated water (as in AI servers) is dielectric and will not damage the electronics if the pump ever leaks.
Air cooling is provided by a fan rotating at speeds of up to 24,000 rpm, which probably ensures realistic gaming sensations on a powerful gaming laptop. The cooling system uses a complex system of plates with the use of graphene, liquid metal, and liquid channels. The dual thermal track, according to the manufacturer, provides 120% better cooling efficiency.
The Chinese version of the smartphone will receive the AI assistant MORA, which will perform all routine operations with text, images, and objects on the smartphone screen, but based on Nubia's own AI.
