The electric vehicle charging station operator Electrify America announced the integration of its real-time data into Google Maps. Now, electric vehicle drivers can have up-to-date information on stations throughout the network without leaving their familiar navigation.

What's New

This new integration develops the existing Google feature of displaying real-time charging availability. It helps electric vehicle drivers more quickly and conveniently choose where to charge and how to plan their route.

Thanks to this direct data transfer, information about Electrify America stations on Google Maps will include current information about charging availability, connector types, charging speed, and operational status — all in the familiar Google Maps interface.
