Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore: a portable Bluetooth speaker with a carabiner, IP67 protection and battery life up to 27 hours for 199 euros

Bang & Olufsen has expanded its range of wireless speakers with a new model - the  Beosound Explore.

What we know

The manufacturer presents the new device as a gadget for travel enthusiasts. The device has got compact dimensions, as well as protection against water and dust according to the IP67 standard, a special handle and a carabiner by means of which Beosound Explore can be attached to a backpack or a belt.

Two 1.8-inch speakers are responsible for the sound in the new product. The speaker is connected to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.2. It supports fast pairing technologies from Apple, Google and Microsoft. By the way, having several devices on hand, you can combine them into a stereo pair. The Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore is powered by a 2400 mAh battery. It, according to the company, will last up to 27 hours of listening to music.

Price and when to expect

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore will go on sale in Europe on May 24 with the price 199 euros. There will be three colors available: black, gray and green.
