Motorola Edge 70 Pro Unveiled: Massive 6500mAh Battery and Triple 50MP Cameras Promise Exceptional Performance
Motorola is preparing to launch its new sub-flagship Edge 70 Pro, focusing on high autonomy and excellent photography quality.
The presentation of the novelty will take place on April 22, but today, on the Indian marketplace Flipkart the company published the first official details and its photo in three colors.
Record autonomy
The main feature of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro will be a 6500mAh battery — slightly more than the Edge 60 Pro, which has a 6000mAh battery. For those who don't like waiting by the socket, a 90W fast wired charging support is provided.
Uncompromising photo capabilities
The rear panel of the Edge 70 Pro will feature three full modules, each with a resolution of 50 MP:
- the main Sony LYT-710 sensor with improved optical stabilization (OIS) for night shooting;
- ultra-wide-angle lens: with macro shooting support;
- telephoto lens: for high-quality optical zoom without loss of detail.
The front camera will also offer 50 MP.
Display and performance
The smartphone received a 6.8” AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and an impressive brightness of up to 5200 nits.
Decent performance for the Edge 70 Pro will be provided by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset.
The presented photos show the smartphone in three elegant colors, developed in collaboration with Pantone: Lily White with a marble texture, Tea (green), and Titan (blue).
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro will have high water and dust protection and will be shipped with Android 16.
The manufacturer guarantees at least three Android updates and five years of security patches.
