Lana Del Rey's Epic Bond Anthem Unveiled for 007 First Light Game, Lenny Kravitz Stars as Villain
No James Bond film is complete without a striking opening musical theme, and of course, this is true for a modern AAA game, and IO Interactive has published the main track of the spy action 007 First Light.
What is Known
The composition was performed by Lana Del Rey, who also co-authored it with David Arnold. He is the one who wrote the title tracks for five Bond films, including "Die Another Day" (Die Another Day, 2002), "Casino Royale" (Casino Royale, 2006), and "Quantum of Solace" (Quantum of Solace, 2008).
Arnold noted that the music is an integral part of the "Bond DNA" and in 007 First Light, it plays an important role.

I was pleased to work with Lana — an artist who brought elegance, atmosphere, and her unique touch to this composition. I hope it opens the world of Bond to an entirely new audience.
The track is already available on major music streaming platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.
007 First Light is generating tremendous public interest, and already three million people, not counting those who have pre-ordered, added it to their wishlist.
The game will offer a completely new take on James Bond, showing this character in a modern setting and from the perspective of a newcomer in the large world of global conspiracies, secret organizations, and spy dramas.
007 First Light will offer more dynamic gameplay than Hitman (another famous IO Interactive franchise), featuring lots of shootouts, fights, car chases, spectacular action scenes, and tense episodes. Developers, this time, prioritize cinematic over gameplay variability and non-linear progression. The role of Bond's main antagonist — the brutal and cunning Bawma — will be played by the famous musician Lenny Kravitz.
When to Expect It
