Surprise Launch: Control Ultimate Edition Now Available on iPhone and iPad with Full Expansions!
The developer from Remedy actively supports Apple devices and, a few months after Control was released on Mac, ported it to iPhone and iPad.
What is known
The popular 2019 action game unexpectedly, without prior announcements, became available on Apple smartphones and tablets.
In the App Store, the Ultimate edition of Control is offered with all previously released expansions, including the AWE expansion, which directly ties it to Alan Wake. Although this is not mentioned in the studio's announcement, the store also lists compatibility with the Apple Vision Pro augmented reality headset.
To run Control on an iPhone or iPad, at least a model with an A17 Pro chip and iOS 26.1 firmware is required.
Remedy developers ported all of Control's content, implemented convenient touch controls, adapted the interface and some game systems, and ensured the game looks great on a small screen.
