EA Sports UFC 6 launches June 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
EA Sports UFC 6 is official, and it has a firm release date: June 19, 2026, exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Standard Edition costs $69.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99 — in line with what other annual EA Sports titles charge. Pre-orders are open now, and Ultimate Edition buyers get a week of early access starting June 12.
The cover and the editions
Alex Pereira covers the Standard Edition, while Max Holloway graces the Ultimate. The timing is hard to miss: Pereira is scheduled to fight Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title on June 14, just five days before the game drops — a natural promotional window for EA.

The Ultimate Edition bundles several extras. The Fighter Pass includes eight UFC legends, two available at launch with the rest unlocking over time. The Expansion Pass promises two substantial content drops — one in Winter 2026 and one in Summer 2027 — with new modes described as featuring "immersive storytelling." EA hasn't shown what that means yet; no gameplay trailer has been released. The package rounds out with a cosmetic VIP Pass and a Rivalry Bundle containing two fighter skins and 500 in-game coins.
What's new in the game
EA says UFC 6 brings an improved striking system, reworked animations, and the new story-driven modes mentioned above. The game runs on the Frostbite engine — the same technology behind EA's Battlefield series. Beyond those broad strokes, specific details are thin. The studio has promised a "full reveal coming soon."
The PC situation
A PC version is confirmed to be in development, per GameRant, but it won't be part of the June 19 launch. VideoGamesChronicle reports that Insider Gaming's Mike Straw places the PC release in fall 2026. EA itself has not announced an official PC date. Notably, this would mark the first time an EA Sports UFC game has come to PC — the previous five entries were console-only.
UFC 6 arrives roughly three years after UFC 5, so the pressure on content depth is real. Whether the new modes and updated systems justify the full $69.99 ask won't be clear until that promised gameplay reveal lands.
