Chinese charging brand Sharge has unveiled the Mini Flow, an ultra-compact power bank wrapped in the same transparent design as its premium Storm lineup. It measures 80 × 28.5 × 60 mm and weighs 200 g — roughly the size of a pack of chewing gum — making it one of the smallest 5,000 mAh portable chargers around. If you regularly run your phone dry away from a socket, this is aimed squarely at you.

The look

The Mini Flow's calling card is its see-through shell, which puts the internal circuit board and coils on display. Most power banks signal remaining charge through a row of LEDs; Sharge instead fits a segmented LCD screen that shows an exact battery percentage and the active charging protocol. It's the kind of retro-industrial aesthetic that has spread through the transparent-gadget trend of the past couple of years.

The specs

One USB-C port delivers up to 20W; a USB-A port on the opposite side does the same. Run both simultaneously and total output drops to a combined 15W. The compact body comes in four pastel colorways. Sharge launched the Mini Flow in China via JD.com at around $25.

What to consider buying

Before pulling the trigger, it's worth knowing Sharge has already moved on. The follow-up Flow Mini 2 — confirmed available in the US and UK as of May 2025, per NotebookCheck — hits 22.5W max output, charges an iPhone 16 to 50% in around 27 minutes, and ships with interchangeable USB-C and Lightning connectors for iOS and Android flexibility. In the US it starts at $19.90 on promotion (RRP $24.90); in the UK it's available from £15 (RRP £18.77). Both prices undercut the original Mini Flow while delivering meaningfully faster charging, notes GaGadget EN.

The transparent compact power bank segment has grown crowded — INIU and Anker's PowerCore 10K both compete at similar or lower price points with comparable wattage. Sharge's edge is the distinctive design and the LCD readout; whether that's worth seeking out the original Mini Flow over the newer model is a tougher sell.
