DigiTimes: Apple will Launch New MacBook Pro with ARM-branded Chip and MiniLED Screen in September

The information on when Apple will unveil the new MacBook Pro continues to appear on the web. This time, the Taiwan edition of DigiTimes has shared the details.

When to expect

According to the report, Apple's partners began to supply components for the new product, and if everything goes according to plan, the laptop will be presented at the end of the third quarter. That is, in September. By the way, earlier edition of Bloomberg said that the device will be shown in summer.

Recall, the new MacBook Pro should enter the market in two versions: with 14-inch and 16-inch screens. If we believe the leaks, the device will get miniLED panel, battery life up to 30 hours and new design with flat edges, like on the iPhone 12 and iPad Pro. Also Apple is going to remove Touch Bar and replace it with physical buttons.

Also MacBook Pro 2021 is supposed to support MagSafe charging, several USB-C and HDMI ports. The device will be running on a new proprietary ARM chip, which will replace the M1.
