Honor Watch 6 Plus packs a 1,000 mAh battery — nearly twice what Apple Watch Ultra 3 offers
Honor has launched the Watch 6 Plus in China, and the standout number is its 1,000 mAh battery — almost double the 559 mAh cell inside the Apple Watch Ultra 3. The company claims up to 35 days of use in power-saving mode and 17 days under normal conditions. No pricing or availability has been confirmed for the US or UK.
The hardware
The Watch 6 Plus has a round 1.46-inch AMOLED display running at 464 × 464 pixels, with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits — bright enough to stay readable in direct sunlight. The case is stainless steel with a brushed finish inspired by motorsport aesthetics. On the right side sit a physical button and a rotating digital crown.
Connectivity specs include dual-band GPS (L1+L5) with support for five satellite systems and offline maps, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, a barometric pressure sensor, and a built-in speaker and microphone for phone calls. Water resistance is rated to IP69 and 5ATM, so it handles swimming without issue.
The battery claim
A 1,000 mAh battery is a legitimate achievement in the smartwatch category, per Notebookcheck — it's more than double the capacity of the Galaxy Watch 8. Honor's claimed figures of 17 days normal use, 42 hours with GPS running, and 35 days in power-saving mode have not yet been independently tested, so real-world results will likely fall short of the headline numbers.
Health tracking and sports
The watch runs Honor's MagicOS and includes the company's Heart Guard Plus sensor suite, which Honor says can flag risks for sleep apnea, hypertension, and sudden cardiac events via real-time heart rate reduction monitoring. These are proprietary algorithms — no third-party medical validation has been published.
Over 120 sports modes are on board, with dedicated professional reports for running, football, and badminton (including swing and rally tracking). An AI coaching mode and running posture analysis round out the fitness features. A built-in voice assistant, YOYO, runs on a DeepSeek large language model. The watch is compatible with Android 9.0+, iOS 15.1+, and HarmonyOS 6.0+.

The Watch 6 Plus is available in five colors, including Flying Blue, Racing Gray, and Shadow Black.
Availability
The Watch 6 Plus launched in China on May 25, 2026, priced at roughly $175 converted from yuan — but that figure is not an official international RRP. Honor has not announced a US or UK release date. The company did bring the Honor Watch 5 Ultra to Europe, which suggests a global rollout is plausible, but timing and pricing remain unconfirmed. Five color options are available — including Flying Blue, Racing Gray, and Shadow Black — with fluoroelastomer or braided composite strap choices. Competitors at this battery life level don't really exist among mainstream brands, says Gizmochina, but Apple and Samsung's ecosystem lock-in remains the bigger hurdle for Honor in Western markets.
