In addition to Mi 2K Gaming Monitor, Xiaomi yesterday introduced its new router - Mi AX9000, to the global market.
What we know
The device was shown in China in March. The gadget has an aggressive appearance and boasts support for Wi-Fi 6 and three bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 5G_Game. The latter is required specifically for gaming. There is 1GB of RAM and a dual-cluster Qualcomm platform with four CPU cores and two NPU cores. It also has MU-MIMO and OFDMA support, the ability to connect up to 248 devices, four antennas, LAN ports, USB 3.0 and a fan for cooling. Depending on connection frequency, the AX9000 operates at speeds up to 8354 Mbps. Naturally, the router can be controlled and configured via a proprietary smartphone app.
Price and when to expect
Sales of new items will start in the coming days. The expected price is 299 euros.
