Honor X80 Pro Max: Unveiled with Massive 11000mAh Battery and Premium Features for Just $300
The Chinese brand Honor has officially unveiled the new X80 Pro Max smartphone, which is the first in the history of mass models to feature a large 11000 mAh battery (previous records belonged to three Honor models), designed for 6 years of operation. The manufacturer claims that such a battery is sufficient for a full day of continuous gameplay or twenty hours of navigation use, and the 90W fast charging will allow you to quickly replenish the energy reserve. Thanks to the support for 27W reverse charging, the gadget can be used as a power bank.
Other details about the novelty
Honor X80 Pro Max features a 6.8” OLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K (2788 x 1280 pixels), a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a record brightness of up to 10000 nits. The smartphone has very thin bezels and rounded corners.
This is one of the first gadgets based on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, focused on affordable devices with support for local AI models, enhanced shooting and gaming capabilities.
It is claimed to be highly drop-resistant and offers maximum protection against water and dust according to the IP69 standard. Since the Honor X80 Pro Max is not a photo flagship, it has only one 50 MP camera, but with optical stabilization. The front camera is 8 MP.
Customers are offered several memory configurations: 8 or 12 GB of RAM, and storage capacity is 128, 256, or 512 GB. It supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, and the novelty comes with the MagicOS 10 shell based on Android 16.
Despite its record battery and design close to premium, the Honor X80 Pro Max is a budget model, priced starting from $300 (converted from yuan), but currently available only in China. There is no information about a global release yet.
Honor X80 Pro Max is offered in four interesting color options, whose names, translated from Chinese, are Moon Shadow White, Energetic Orange, Lightning Red, and Steel Black.
